Meet Siddiqi Ray

Siddiqi Ray’s life boldly answers the same question she asks her yoga students: “Dare you have the courage to be who you really are?”

This professional photographer spent her teenage years at an ashram in New York and has photographed such spiritual luminaries as Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama. She found her way back to yoga in her thirties while teaching cycle classes in Minneapolis; searching for the mind, body and spiritual connection yoga offered. Siddiqi is a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 instructor and one of only 75 teachers certified by internationally-known yogi Baron Baptiste.

As someone who is passionate about learning and teaching, Siddiqi constantly reaches for new levels of self-awareness that translate to the classroom and has honed her approach to yoga to create an athletic, authentic and uplifting style all her own. Siddiqi weaves humor and insight together with the power of the Vinyasa flow to bring sweat, consciousness, and laughter to every class!
